The 2nd Trimester Begins!

Well, the second trimester has begun, and I'm feeling a lot better than before. Thankfully a lot of the nausea and the exhaustion is starting to weaken, which is an ANSWERED PRAYER! There are of course other symtoms going on, but you don't wanna read about that ;)

I'm just gunna put it out there, don't touch the belly. Don't think about touching the belly. Don't rub the belly. Just...stay away, :) thanks!

I spoke with my dear friend Becca today who is studying to be a doula. I expressed concerns how I feel as though putting all the responsibility on Zachary to be my rock during labor might be too much for one person to handle, much less possibly a male. She recommended a great book called "The Birthing Partner" that helps speaks to doulas/spouses/supporting role people about how to be active during labor, what to expect, etc. Suppose that will be the next book on the ever growing list to read.

We start our centering classes next Wednesday. Looking forward to connecting with other moms who are due at the same time and feeling a sense of community about this pregnancy.

Anyway, little bump starting, 14 weeks! Already wearing maternity pants, since my other ones no longer fit and the bella band is rubbing/digging against my ever growing uterus. Not much to look at, but heres to the future!

Heartbeat 155 and beating strong.
