Happy 26 Weeks!
Our centering class today focused on fears during labor and relaxation techniques. It was great to discuss some of the fears like tearing, or transition or needing to go to the hospital. In all honesty, I'm not necessarily "scared" of those items. There is something that has me most worked up, but it's something that isn't highly appropriate for my blog readers - and no, it's not about pooping during labor!
Baby Honea is happy, healthy, and kicking like crazy - we got a real mover on our hands folks. Aside from that - there isn't a whole lot to update in the baby department. No "cravings", no weird things, no pains, nada. Sorry to disappoint but this baby is perfectly happy with how things are going right now!
The nursery will start to come together over the next month. And you're invited to our shower on March 17th at 2:00PM at our new casa. Make plans to come! :) We would love to have you to celebrate with us.
I am getting more and more excited about meeting this little one and a bit more scared everyday. It's becoming more of a reality of this little baby being in our lives in just a few short months. I suppose it started to sink in by calling daycare centers and pediatricians earlier this week. For some reason - I just don't trust anyone, haha. Motherly instincts? Outside of that, daycare is ridiculously expensive (1,000 or so a month) and that just isn't in our budget. What are parents to do who must work full-time but have a child that needs daycare? I pray that the Lord will send a nanny into our lives soon or that both sets or parents will move to Austin.
Gestational Diabetes test in 2 weeks. Ick.
Keep growing away baby!
Bring a straw for the diabetes test! It's so much more bearable if you can just chug it straight past your tongue!
